| EverFile Systems, Inc. maintains
a code of business conduct that defines our ethical practices and
business requirements. We publish a set of values that reflect the
requirement for ethical work practices and recognize the importance
of input from all stakeholders.
Our strategic planning process includes a discussion of personal
and corporate values, as well as our impact on stakeholders. Managers
are held responsible for demonstrating their understanding that
ethical integrity supersedes other business demands and that there
are identified consequences where unethical practices occur. Employees
and affiliates are required to accurately portray the limitations
as well as the benefits and features of all products and services.
Managers and other staff are authorized to withdraw a product
or service if it is found to be below required security levels
or conflict with our code of conduct.
Our employees receive training in how to demonstrate and implement
this code of business conduct. Opportunities are provided for
all employees to review our code of conduct and discuss ethical
issues; these include, but are not necessarily limited to, new
hire orientation, special training programs, and facilitated meetings.
Employees have recourse to an ombudsman if they have questions
or concerns. Our performance management system encourages employees
to identify areas for improvement, and there are no penalties
for individuals who identify problems. Performance evaluations
include a section on adherence to the code of conduct.
EverFile Systems routinely verifies the accuracy of claims made
to customers about our products/services. Our suppliers are monitored
for product quality, security, and ethical work practices. Our
Board of Directors has approved mechanisms to ensure compliance
with our code of conduct, as well as a schedule to review it on
a periodic basis.
We invite you into dialogue with us on this important issue.
